The school operates on a 15-week semester basis. Classes meet one evening a week from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM; the beginner class meets virtually on Tuesdays beginning 01/30/2024, the intermediate class will meet virtually on Tuesdays depending on availability and scheduling, and the advanced class meets in-person on Wednesdays beginning 01/31/2024 at Houston Saengerbund, 1703 Heights Blvd, Houston. All classes will continue where they left off last fall. The cost is modest, and varies according to the cost of materials, which come from Sweden.

The textbook for the beginner class will be Rivstart A1+A2 (Second Edition); the textbook for the intermediate class will be Mål 2; the textbook for the advanced class will be Rivstart B2+C1; the optional grammar reference will be A Concise Swedish Grammar: Svensk Grammatik På Engelska.
